About the position

As a Communications Manager for Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and Delivery Associates (DAs) at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to create the world's safest, most efficient, and sustainable delivery network. This position is designed to enhance the engagement and satisfaction of over 175,000 Delivery Associates who operate Prime-branded vehicles, delivering millions of packages weekly. You will be responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class communication strategies that resonate with DSPs and DAs, ensuring they are informed, engaged, and motivated in their roles. Your primary focus will be on crafting multi-channel content strategies that include written communications, executive messaging, infographics, and video content. You will translate complex messaging into clear, concise, and engaging content that is easily understood by our DSPs and DAs. This role requires you to conduct interviews with DSPs and DAs to gather compelling advocacy stories that highlight the entrepreneurial opportunities within the program. Additionally, you will monitor and measure the effectiveness of these communications to ensure they meet the needs of our audience. In this fast-paced environment, you will need to exercise sound judgment and maintain high standards for DSP-facing communications. Building trust with cross-functional partners, including program managers, product managers, and business leaders, will be essential. You will be expected to bring innovative ideas to simplify and scale our communication processes, all while maintaining a passion for storytelling. The role is a unique blend of B2B communications and internal communications, requiring a high bias for action and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. The DSP & DA Communications and Engagement team consists of over 15 high-performing leaders who foster a collaborative and inclusive culture. Despite being based in different locations across the U.S. and Canada, the team maintains strong connections through daily interactions, team-building events, and a shared commitment to providing trustworthy information to DSPs and DAs. Your contributions will directly impact their ability to operate efficiently and focus on building a safety-first culture while delivering exceptional service to their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Support a multi-channel content strategy, including written communications, executive messaging, infographics, and video.
  • Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content.
  • Interview DSPs and DAs and build advocacy stories to promote the program as an entrepreneurial opportunity of choice.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • High attention to detail, particularly when it comes to proofing copy and content.
  • Polished written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and multiple projects at once.
