About the position

The Communications Manager for Enrollment & Student Administration at Boston University is responsible for managing email communications directed at approximately 36,000 enrolled students. This role utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create, execute, and assess targeted communication campaigns aimed at engaging students and promoting university initiatives. The position ensures consistency in messaging across various communication channels, including emails, websites, and student portals, while collaborating with academic departments and student organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and execute email content using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Maintain documentation to compare yearly communications metrics.
  • Update and track a central content calendar for communications.
  • Monitor student engagement with the MyBU Message Center.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in higher education marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is highly preferred but not required.
