About the position

The Communications Manager for Strategy at GEHA is responsible for designing and creating strategic executive communications and assets for senior leadership and the board of directors. This role is crucial in the Growth division, focusing on developing key strategy assets and presentations that inform leadership about market positioning and strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate will work closely with VPs and provide counsel to executives, ensuring that communications are impactful and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and create strategic communications for senior leadership and the board of directors.
• Collaborate with Growth division VPs to develop key strategy assets and presentations.
• Gather information from various sources to create compelling white papers or presentations.
• Provide strategic counsel to executives and business partners on communications best practices.
• Maintain focus on the strategic impact of communications programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field required.
• 8+ years' experience in corporate communication, PR firm, or related field required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multi-topic senior-level communications.
• Expertise in PowerPoint design and functionality.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint portal environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in health care.
• Experience with Miro and modern strategic communication tools.
