The Communications Manager, Global Food Systems at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) plays a pivotal role in managing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communications plans that highlight the organization's extensive food systems projects, programs, and partnerships. This position is crucial for supporting the communications needs of a globally dispersed team focused on various workstreams, including fisheries, regenerative agriculture, and zero-conversion commodities. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Global Agriculture & Land Use, the Communications Manager will facilitate ongoing communication across all team members and stakeholders involved in these initiatives. In this role, the Communications Manager will coordinate various components of digital, social, and earned media, as well as manage logistics for off-site events as outlined in the program's marketing and communications strategies. The position requires a strategic thinker who can create compelling communication materials tailored to diverse target audiences worldwide. The Communications Manager will also be responsible for designing processes that enhance the efficiency of marketing and communications management among team members, ensuring that project goals and metrics are met on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and editing skills, along with substantial project management experience. They will be adept at cultivating and managing relationships with both internal and external partners, ensuring that the communication objectives align with TNC's mission and values.
