About The Position
Join Friends of the Children-SF Bay Area as our Communications Manager! Are you a detail-oriented, organized, and passionate fundraising and communications professional ready to make a lasting impact? Friends of the Children-SF Bay Area (Friends-SF) is seeking a Communications Manager who can amplify our mission and share the stories of our youth and Professional Mentors with clarity, creativity, and heart. We are a dynamic nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty by empowering youth through Professional Mentorship for 12+ years, no matter what! At Friends-SF, we empower youth facing systemic barriers to achieve their big dreams. We provide each child with a long-term, salaried, Professional Mentor-a Friend-who walks alongside them from kindergarten through high school graduation. Our evidence-based model changes the trajectory of lives, helping children build resilience and write their own stories of hope.
