The ADA Forsyth Institute is seeking a Communications and Marketing Specialist to join our communications and events team. This role is pivotal in developing and executing comprehensive content and marketing strategies that align with our organization's goals and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker with excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of digital marketing and SEO best practices. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves to work collaboratively, and is a self-starter. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring at least three days on-site, with candidates expected to be available for occasional nights and weekend hours during events. As a Communications and Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for content creation and management, developing engaging science stories and content for various platforms including the website, blog, and email newsletter. You will also maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely publication of content across all platforms. Additionally, you will assist in the creation of marketing materials and collateral, manage the production of the monthly newsletter, and help coordinate and implement content strategies across the website, email marketing, and social media channels to support organizational goals and elevate the reputation of the Institute. In this role, you will provide constructive feedback and editing support to team members, assist the communications director in reviewing and approving all communications materials, and maintain a project management system to ensure efficient workflow. You will oversee the management of the company website, ensuring content is up-to-date and optimized for SEO, and implement best practices to improve website visibility. Furthermore, you will monitor and analyze website and digital marketing performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. This position also requires a willingness to assist with other duties and projects as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to supporting the team and contributing to various tasks as needed.
