About the position

As the Communications Operations Specialist within the Global Communications Department at Clarios, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various internal and change initiatives. This position requires a dynamic individual who can bring energy, enthusiasm, and resiliency to lead and work within one of the world's oldest startup companies. The role is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where you will work in-office three days a week and have the flexibility to work remotely for two days. In this position, you will report to the Manager of Global Internal Communications and collaborate closely with the entire department to ensure seamless communication across numerous fast-paced projects. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and passion for process will be essential as you manage multiple moving parts while maintaining a focus on the overall strategic vision. Your responsibilities will include managing the global Marketing Communications Calendar and maintaining the Corporate Communications SharePoint Site. You will serve as the subject matter expert on various communications channels, including intranet, email, and digital signage, by collecting metrics, building processes, and sharing progress with an executive audience. Additionally, you will lead efforts to modernize communications for hourly employees in collaboration with regional teams, which may involve deploying tools like Viva Engage and implementing facility-based campaigns. You will also support quarterly town hall meetings for executive leadership and coordinate internal communications activities with regional communications leaders to create a cohesive narrative for employees. Furthermore, you will manage vendor relationships and budget tracking, as well as develop content that enhances employee pride and connects them with the company's mission, values, and strategy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or other related field
  • 2+ years of communications and event-related experience
  • Demonstrated process orientation
  • Superior written, editorial and presentation skills
  • Critical thinker capable of synthesizing complex ideas
