About the position

The Communications Project Coordinator (CPC) at Xtend is a dynamic role designed for an ambitious individual with a strong passion for marketing and a proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously. This position is pivotal in ensuring effective communication and presentation to our credit union clients, as well as creating high-quality marketing content. The CPC will be responsible for quality control, data management, and reporting, utilizing a variety of systems and technologies to fulfill job functions effectively. Success in this role hinges on the ability to communicate directly and clearly, a willingness to seek feedback, and a strong desire to understand data and reporting related to marketing initiatives. The CPC will need to grasp the unique brands we serve and create content tailored for various multimedia needs, including email, print, web, social media, and press releases. Additionally, measuring the success of communications is a critical aspect of this role, requiring an understanding of target audiences and the most effective ways to engage them to achieve desirable results. The CPC will engage in essential job functions such as researching, creating, and approving marketing content, managing multiple projects while addressing client expectations, and documenting product launches. The role also involves manipulating data to create targeted audiences, continuously learning about marketing initiatives, and educating clients and coworkers on products and processes. Maintaining positive relationships with clients through regular meetings and collaboration with colleagues for cross-functional tasks is also vital. The CPC will engage in back-end data management and participate in cross-training within the department to ensure a comprehensive understanding of various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Research, create, and approve quality marketing content; oversee and provide quality control for services.
  • Manage multiple projects, addressing client expectations with shifting timelines and workloads; troubleshoot and assist with resolving client questions, issues, and requests.
  • Document, implement, and oversee product launches.
  • Manipulate data to create targeted audiences.
  • Continuously learn, observe, and report on marketing initiatives.
  • Educate and train clients and coworkers on products and processes; ensure client education, customization, and automation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients; hold meetings with clients via Zoom to understand their marketing goals and preferences; conduct check-in meetings and maintain services over time; ensure client satisfaction and understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for cross-functional tasks.
  • Engage in back-end data management, including query work for client-specific marketing and daily data downloads.
  • Participate in cross-training within the department, ensuring flexibility and a comprehensive understanding of various tasks.
  • Utilize HTML, core credit union data processor knowledge (CU*BASE), and query skills for effective communication and data manipulation.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and clear communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge or experience with project management fundamentals is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude to foster coachability and handle client interactions effectively is required.
  • Two-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of credit union operations, regulations and procedures is preferred.
  • Experience with HTML emails, Canva, Social Media Management, Relationship Based Marketing is preferred.
