About the position
The Communications Specialist: Digital Communications Accessibility Lead is responsible for supporting all content requirements for the Weld RE-4 School District, focusing on internal and external communications. This role ensures compliance with digital accessibility standards and applicable laws, requiring a strong understanding of digital content development and accessibility. The position also involves fostering good community relations and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely compliance with digital accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Develop and manage digital content for various platforms including websites and social media.
- Promote good community relations with stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service in all communications efforts.
- Support internal and external communications for the Weld RE-4 School District.
Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of communications and digital content development.
- Specialized knowledge of website content management and digital accessibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of publishing and printing guidelines.
