  • Write clear, persuasive, and original content that engages diverse audiences, adapting tone and style as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to brainstorm ideas and develop strategic content plans.
  • Work with graphic designers and digital marketers to ensure textual content fits seamlessly with visual elements.
  • Participate in creative sessions to refine messaging and enhance communication materials.
  • Edit and proofread all content to meet NYULH's standards for accuracy and clarity.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to enhance content quality.
  • Revise campaigns based on audience engagement data, aligning final products with objectives.
  • Uphold brand standards and voice across all written materials, ensuring consistency.
  • Verify compliance with legal and regulatory standards specific to healthcare.
  • Contribute to the development of internal style guides and editorial standards.
  • Stay updated on trends in content writing and healthcare communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience as a content/copy writer or related role with a strong portfolio.
  • 1 year of experience in content/copy editing.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly within academic medicine.
