This position is based in Richmond, Virginia, and offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility with three days in the office and two days of teleworking. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing high-quality video content that supports the company's brand and storytelling efforts. The role requires a self-starter who is knowledgeable about all phases of video and audio production, capable of delivering compelling content under tight deadlines. The primary responsibilities of this position include serving as a videographer and editor for both internal and external communications needs. The candidate will be responsible for providing composition, lighting, and video services across various digital platforms, including web and social media. The role involves shooting and editing high-quality corporate videos using Sony and Canon platforms in HD and 4K formats, ensuring that the final products are cohesive, compelling, and compliant with brand standards. Additionally, the candidate will conduct pre-production tasks such as location scouting, interview preparation, and equipment setup, while maintaining organized files and backups for easy access to archived creative assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production, including experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop, as well as proficiency in using professional audio/visual equipment. The position requires the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of team members and stakeholders, balancing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. The role may also require working outside of core hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during special events or emergencies. Travel expectations for this position range from 26% to 50%, primarily involving day travel with occasional overnight trips within the Dominion Energy footprint.
