About the position

As a Corporate Communications Specialist at Axiologic Solutions, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and refining communication products that drive a pivotal organization forward. From authoring strategic messages to ensuring flawless execution, you'll collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful content. Your role will encompass everything from editing for clarity and consistency to spearheading change management initiatives! IPC requires a Corporate Communications specialist to author and review products dealing with complex issues and provide guidance and editing services to the IPC divisions regarding logic, clarity, consistency, comprehensiveness, relevance, style and format (as well as grammar, word usage, spelling and punctuation) in support of IPC's assessments and evaluations, cost estimating, and planning and programming activities for the consumption of senior NGA leadership (D/ and DD/NGA). Support the Oversight and Engagement division to ensure IPC's organizational and operational effectiveness through planning, logistics, human resources, strategic communications and engagement support. The Corporate Communications specialist communicates and negotiates with IPC divisions and other subject matter experts as well as with the Visual Information specialist to create accurate and compelling visual content. Multitasking, prioritizing, and rapidly adapting to changing organizational requirements while producing error-free material is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Assists IPC Leadership with their strategic communications to NGA stakeholders, Oversight (e.g. ODNI) and the IPC workforce.
  • Analyze customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for message/information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages.
  • Tailor messages by target audience.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of an IPC strategic communications plan to support its important role in the NGA's planning and programming processes.
  • Coordinates all IPC related themes/talking points related to NGA communications to ensure adherence to agency publication policies and standards.
  • Reviews, edits and formats all IPC strategic communications according to established agency publication policies prior to IPC leadership release.
  • Review and analyze draft material for clarity, consistency, style, format, logic, and organization, as well as grammar, word usage, spelling and punctuation.
  • Communicates with internal staff and external partners using multiple channels (jabber, email, etc.).
  • Reviewing products dealing with complex issues and providing guidance to others regarding logic, clarity, comprehensiveness, relevance and brevity.
  • Develops or recommends various communication tools to IPC Leadership to maintain a consistent message theme and improve transparency in IPC Leadership decision making.
  • Orchestrates change management activities to assist the IPC leadership in communicating and achieving strategic shifts impacting the IPC and NGA workforce.
  • Facilitate/moderate weekly/monthly/quarterly small to large Senior-level Offsite meetings.
  • Support Office- or Division-level needs for meeting minutes/actions/key takeaways to support or facilitate IPC internal communication processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience and six (6) years of relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance, CI poly preferred.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Public Affairs, Communications/Broadcasting, Management or at least 6 years of relevant experience in Public Affairs, Communications/Broadcasting, Management or equivalent relevant fields in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing talking points, briefings, official correspondence, and articles for executive level management.
