About the position

As a Communications Specialist at LivLavender Property Management, a VareCo company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the resident experience and ensuring satisfaction within the property management sector. This full-time position is designed for individuals who are passionate about customer service and are solution-oriented. You will be the first point of contact for residents and potential renters, managing their inquiries and experiences to foster loyalty and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include answering the property management phone line, responding to voicemail messages, and facilitating communication between vendors, maintenance technicians, and residents. Additionally, you will engage in minimal clerical work to support portfolio managers. To excel in this role, you will need to develop a comprehensive understanding of all properties and their operations within the region. This knowledge will empower you to effectively address resident inquiries and resolve issues promptly. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying resident needs and developing strategies to meet those needs, as well as monitoring resident experiences and making recommendations for improvements. You will also be responsible for creating feedback surveys, analyzing the results to identify patterns and trends, and tracking experience metrics to report on outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Greets residents and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Handles incoming calls and directs them to the appropriate party as needed
  • Processes resident inquiries
  • Provides information to inquiring renters regarding products and services
  • Maintains a neat and organized reception area
  • Answers resident questions and resolves resident complaints
  • Identifies resident needs and develops strategies for meeting those needs
  • Monitors resident experience and makes recommendations for improvement
  • Develops feedback surveys and analyzes to identify patterns and trends
  • Tracks experience metrics and reports results
  • Performs other general office duties as needed

Requirements

  • Possess strong proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (including Excel)
  • Display exceptional interpersonal and written communication abilities
  • Utilize critical thinking, problem solving, and sound decision-making
  • Effectively manage time and balance multiple tasks
