This position is pivotal to the success of marketing change initiatives to the workforce; working directly with department leaders, training representatives and subject matter experts. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing facility-wide company events such as the annual Family Day festivities, Service Award Dinners, and supports the planning and execution of internal events. All public relations activities must be aligned with business objectives and the DFJ brand. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's in Communications, Journalism, Graphic Arts or similar field. May substitute 2 years of related work experience for 1 year of college education. Two years of experience in either corporate/marketing communications or related Excellent communications skills, both written and oral Proven experience developing and maintaining high quality professional newsletters and other internal company communications Software proficiency, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe InDesign), Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and digital signage applications. Graphic design and photography experience Sound project management skills Experience with creative concept development based upon requests from multiple internal stakeholders and message development Detail orientation/problem solver abilities Flexibility in terms of assignments and/or work hours ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in corporate environment or very large company site or +1000 employees Previous experience with planning and managing large events Ability to work with little or no direct supervision Ability to function with high energy and a sense of humor Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines Willingness to perform administrative work as required for position High personal ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Develop and lead initiatives that will improve internal communications, increase employee engagement, promote company culture and shared values. Execute communication requirements associated with organizational change initiatives, specifically program introductions, purpose, benefits and execution of plans in a manner appropriate for intended audiences. Publish quarterly company newsletter with goal of creating high interest and current relevant articles consistent with company/corporate news/business initiatives and/or employee activities/items of interest. Create daily/weekly fresh content for SharePoint and Digital Screens, develop both mediums to their fullest potential and exhibit the utility of both to the DFJ audience (content management). Manage copy, design and production of internal marketing materials such as flyers, emails, banners and posters. Plan and manage facility-wide company events; annual employee/family events and service award dinners. Provide videotaping, photography and serves as the PR person as appropriate for civic and government gatherings. Handle local DFJ advertisements as appropriate for the intended medium (newspaper, internet, intranet, etc.) and associated expense processing as required Responsible for creating communications initiatives to tie DFJLIT to Dassault Falcon Jet Teterboro (DFJTEB) and Dassault Aviation (DA), i.e. educating workforce about the company. Manage community outreach initiatives; Ambassador Program, tours and various educational initiatives. Lead communications initiatives and perform other duties as assigned. NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): May work with outside vendors on various communications projects. Preparation of procedural documentation and reports.
