About the position

The Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) role at GW Inc. is a freelance position designed for communications educators to develop learning content for major book publishers. This fully remote role offers flexibility, allowing educators to work around their teaching schedules while contributing to the creation of various educational materials used across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop assessment content for educational purposes.
• Create question banks and course content for various communications subjects.
• Write instructor manuals and teaching guides to support educators.
• Collaborate with in-house Instructional Designers to refine content.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 1-2+ years of teaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Experience in writing learning content or assessments.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Must be located in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, or Business Communication.
