About the position

Comcast Corporation is seeking a Community Account Representative to enhance the number of active subscribers and product penetration in large-scale multi-dwelling properties and communities. This role is pivotal in selling and promoting Comcast's suite of products, including video, high-speed Internet, voice, and XFINITY Home. The representative will be responsible for developing strong relationships with local and national property management teams, which is essential for the sale and retention of Comcast's services. The position requires strategic planning and ongoing sales support tailored to a designated group of multi-dwelling unit (MDU) properties. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of Comcast's offerings and a mastery of sales processes to consistently maximize sales performance. This role demands in-depth experience in large complex MDU community sales, where the representative will often determine their own work priorities. Additionally, the Community Account Representative will act as a resource for less experienced colleagues, providing guidance and mentorship. Core responsibilities include demonstrating expert knowledge of Comcast products, meeting and exceeding sales goals, driving customer acquisition and retention, managing customer care issues, and developing strong working relationships with property management and leasing staff. The representative will also be expected to proactively follow up with customers and property staff regarding sales and technical issues, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Regular attendance, the ability to work nights and weekends, and participation in on-site events are also essential components of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Increase the number of active subscribers and product penetration in assigned MDU properties.
  • Sell and promote Comcast products including video, high-speed Internet, voice, and XFINITY Home.
  • Develop strong relationships with local and national property management teams.
  • Strategize and plan ongoing sales support for assigned MDU properties.
  • Utilize expert knowledge of Comcast products and sales processes to maximize sales.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals including net add improvement and penetration goals.
  • Drive customer acquisition, awareness, retention, and interest in XFINITY products.
  • Proactively follow up with customers and property staff regarding sales and technical issues.
  • Manage resolution of product and customer care issues as a single point of contact.
  • Develop strong working relationships with property management and leasing staff.
  • Call on and visit new build MDU properties regularly before and after occupancy.
  • Manage and attend frequent on-site events to generate subscriber growth.
  • Ensure Comcast services are available prior to occupancy dates for new builds.
  • Lead teams and initiatives as needed.
  • Train new Community Account Representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales support or sales.
  • Expert knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and mobile applications.
