About the position

The Community Association Management (CAM) Instructor position at Colibri Group involves teaching in-person and livestream courses for Gold Coast Schools. The role is part-time, requiring instructors to engage with students through insightful lessons and real-world examples, while utilizing provided course materials. Instructors will teach pre-licensing, exam preparation, and continuing education courses, with a commitment of 4 to 18 hours per week, typically leading one to three classes per month.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct assigned courses according to the course plan
  • Actively engage with students, both in the classroom and online
  • Utilize strong understanding with webinar/livestreaming technology and online instruction
  • Recommend strategies for success and assist students in meeting course objectives
  • Participate in faculty curriculum and ad-hoc meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a licensed CAM preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the subject matter being taught, Community Association Management (CAM)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Active Florida CAM license required
  • Previous instruction and/or training experience required
  • Flexibility to teach weekend and evening classes
  • Flexibility to teach livestream classes from a Gold Coast site or remotely
  • Computer with an HD camera and microphone required
  • Quiet, dedicated office space with strong internet connection required
  • Ability to instruct in an onsite classroom and via Zoom required
