About the position

As a Community Association Manager at RealManage / Vision Communities Management Texas, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a portfolio of homeowner associations (HOAs) and ensuring that the communities you manage thrive. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of 8-12 communities, ensuring that all interactions with homeowners and board members reflect the company's commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating board meetings, maintaining a community meeting calendar, and ensuring timely communication with residents through various channels. Your ability to juggle multiple projects and maintain a high level of organization will be crucial as you conduct inspections, enforce community restrictions, and coordinate with vendors to fulfill contracts for services such as landscaping and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing them to effectively manage diverse personalities and opinions. Excellent written communication skills are essential, as much of your correspondence will be conducted via email. You will also need to be comfortable using technology, as you will be managing data through proprietary software and accessing various portals related to homeowners, management, and vendors. Flexibility and a willingness to serve the community will be key attributes, as you may need to attend evening meetings or community events as requested by the board. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and promote the mission, values, and culture of VCM / RealManage.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service with homeowners and Boards, adhering to a 24-hour response time.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations for a portfolio of 8-12 communities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and run Board and Annual Meetings.
  • Maintain the community meeting calendar.
  • Coordinate community-wide communications, eblasts, and mailings.
  • Complete inspection drives and enforce community restrictions.
  • Attend occasional night meetings and community events if requested by the Board.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure contract fulfillment, e.g., landscape, masonry, fence, pool maintenance, etc.
  • Maintain positive relationships with homeowners through timely responses and proactive communication.
  • Assist other Community Association Managers as required.

Requirements

  • Associate or higher degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year managing Homeowner Associations (HOAs) required.
  • CAI designation(s) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous HOA experience is preferred.
  • Excellent technology skills, comfortable using and learning technology software.
