About the position

Park Property Management Solutions is seeking an experienced Community Association Manager (HOA/Condo) to join our team in Orland Park, IL. This full-time position is essential for ensuring that we surpass the expectations of our customers through superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HOA management and will be a motivated self-starter capable of thriving in a high-pressure and demanding environment. The role requires travel to surrounding Community Associations, and the successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the management of the portfolio's maintenance and day-to-day operational activities of their assigned communities. In this position, you will manage the day-to-day operations of assigned community associations, working closely with homeowners, board members, and other team members within the organization. You will attend board meetings and maintain the company's relationship with each community you manage. Effective communication between the board and individual homeowners is crucial, as is the ability to negotiate and deal with outside contractors and vendors to meet the needs of the community. As the Community Association Manager, you will be the "face of the company" to the communities, board of directors, and vendors, representing our values and commitment to service excellence. The role requires a professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively under time constraints. You will need to be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and have the ability to read, understand, and explain financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Our regular office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with no weekend meetings or Friday evening commitments. However, additional hours may be necessary due to workload and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned community associations.

Requirements

  • Must have an IL CAM License.
  • 1 year of experience in HOA/Condo Management preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with command of the English language.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain financial statements including balance sheets and income statements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of CINC Systems software is preferred.
  • Experience in property management or community management.
