The Community Association Manager (CAM) at RealManage serves as the key ambassador for the company, responsible for managing a portfolio of community associations. This role involves providing management, direction, and leadership to ensure the successful daily operations of these communities, delivering professional services, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in accordance with service level agreements and the company's guiding principles. The CAM will work closely with the Board of Directors, developers, and builders to manage and operate the community effectively, facilitating solutions to problems and enhancing the home values of each community. Key responsibilities include acquiring and maintaining knowledge of state and regulatory agency statutes, as well as the community's documents, policies, and procedures. The CAM will provide weekly updates to the Board regarding collections, ACC requests, compliance, service requests, and work order activity. This position also involves running Board or Annual Meetings, creating monthly management reports that depict the condition of community amenities, and making clear recommendations. The CAM will assist the Board in selecting contractors and insurance carriers, oversee vendor management, and ensure the payment of vendors providing services to the community association. Additionally, the CAM is responsible for developing and submitting accurate annual budgets, working with the accounting team to maintain financial accuracy, and monitoring aging reports to ensure timely legal action regarding collections. Building and fostering positive relationships with residents is crucial to ensure high service levels and timely resolution of concerns. The CAM must conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct, displaying exceptional analytical skills to address potential problems effectively. This role requires excellent interpersonal, writing, and technology skills, as well as flexibility, humility, and strong organizational abilities to manage a diverse portfolio of properties.
