About the position

The Community Association Manager (CAM) serves as the key ambassador for RealManage, responsible for managing a portfolio of community associations. This role involves providing leadership and direction to ensure successful daily operations, delivering professional services, and enhancing customer experience in alignment with company principles. The CAM works closely with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders to facilitate solutions, manage community operations, and increase property values.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate a portfolio of community associations.
• Serve as a professional advisor to the Board of Directors of each assigned community.
• Maintain knowledge of state and regulatory agency statutes and community documents.
• Provide weekly updates to the Board regarding collections, compliance, and service requests.
• Run Board or Annual Meetings and create monthly management reports.
• Assist the Board with contractor and insurance carrier selection.
• Oversee vendor management and payment processes.
• Develop and submit accurate annual budgets and financial reports.
• Build and foster positive relationships with residents.
• Attend monthly Manager's and training meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year managing Homeowner Associations (HOAs) preferred.
• CAI designation(s) strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property management (2 years preferred).
• Familiarity with technology software for managing data.
