About the position

Leland Management is seeking an experienced Portfolio Community Association Manager to oversee community operations in Orlando, FL. This full-time position involves managing community associations in accordance with governing documents, working closely with the Board of Directors, and ensuring effective communication and problem-solving within the community. The role requires strong management skills, customer service proficiency, and financial acumen to maintain and improve community standards.

Responsibilities

  • Organize time effectively in a dynamic work environment and balance competing demands of multiple projects.
  • Adhere to high performance standards and model them to the staff.
  • Complete projects by motivating, supervising, and directing a team of associates.
  • Foster professional relationships with residents, the Board of Directors, and business groups such as contractors and vendors.
  • Analyze and address potential problems within the community.
  • Make recommendations to the Board based on policy analysis.
  • Handle stressful situations with composed authority.
  • Review financial reports and develop accurate financial budgets.
  • Maintain knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes and community policies.
  • Ensure property improvement and maintenance of common areas.
  • Prepare for and conduct association meetings.
  • Process violations, work orders, and architectural control applications.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Experience with site inspections and conducting meetings is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and documents.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in Association Software such as TOPS is favorable.
  • 1 to 3 years of managerial experience in association management or similar fields.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality, apartments, developer, or real estate management.
  • Involvement in overseeing property or building operations.
