About The Position

The Community Association Manager (Portfolio) at Forth Group is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of community associations in Chicago. Requirements

  • Community Association Manager (CAM) license or CMCA certification or comparable experience.
  • 5 years of property management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
  • Solid understanding of property management, accounting, and building maintenance.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a property portfolio on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage building vendors and staff.
  • Respond to owner and board calls and follow up.
  • Contact and coordinate vendors to bid out projects, oversee and manage projects through completion.
  • Review and approve payables as directed for each property.
  • Coordinate ongoing and future projects.
  • Prepare and attend board meetings and report management activities.
  • Develop budgets for properties.
  • Review financials for accuracy.
  • Inspect properties and vendor work.
  • Create maintenance plans for properties.
  • Create capital improvement budget and reserve budget.
