About the position

This position involves overseeing aspects of community maintenance, ensuring superior community appearance, and providing exceptional customer service to homeowners and residents. You will also assist in budget creation, supervision of management companies, and participate in community meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee aspects of community maintenance, including entrances, amenities, and focal points, ensuring superior community appearance as directed by supervisor
  • Aid in the creation of annual Operation and Maintenance Budgets for each community
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns from homeowners and residents in the communities
  • Assist in the supervision of management companies, vendors, contractors, and community personnel
  • Attend and actively participate in Board of Directors meetings and HOA Town Hall meetings, following up on action items through to completion
  • Assist in the creation of preventative maintenance schedules and processes for community amenities (pools, fitness areas, gates, etc.)
  • Assist in the preparation of resolutions, policies and procedures based on community changes and reporting needs
  • Assist in the turnover process from Land Development and Construction to the HOA
  • Review and determine approval or denial of Architectural Review Committee (ARC) applications received by the homeowners
  • Coordinate cancelation and onboarding of new trades for current and new community startups
  • Solicit bids for new community startups
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Licensed in Florida as an LCAM
  • 3-5 years of experience in active Community Association Management; experience with developer-focused projects is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
  • Strong customer service orientation with solid business acumen and a resilient work ethic
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining accurate documentation and records
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
  • Knowledge of community association laws and regulations
