About the position

The Community Association Manager position at Professional Community Management, Inc. (ProCom) involves working closely with a team of community managers to gain hands-on experience in managing community associations. The role includes various administrative tasks, site inspections, and communication with homeowners and vendors, all aimed at preparing the new hire for future responsibilities as a community manager.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare to become a Community Manager by downloading and responding to homeowner calls and emails.
  • Perform community site inspections.
  • Attend Board of Director meetings as needed.
  • Process vendor invoices.
  • Assist with mailings and communications.
  • Communicate with existing and prospective vendors.
  • Fill in for community managers during prolonged absences.
  • Handle filing, copying, and scanning tasks.
  • Attend in-house and professional continuing education training to acquire industry credentials.

Requirements

  • High School diploma; College degree is preferred.
  • Two years of Customer Service or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
  • Reliable transportation.
