About the position

The Community Bank SBA Lending Jr. Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the monitoring and servicing of various SBA loan programs, including SBA 7a, SBA Express, and SBA 504. This role involves ensuring the ongoing credit quality of existing loan customers, maintaining accurate loan grades, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. The position also includes handling customer servicing requests and managing past due and defaulted loans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the ongoing credit quality of existing loan customers.
• Maintain an accurate Loan Grade on each existing loan using financial statements and other methods.
• Monitor compliance with reporting requirements for each loan.
• Track, maintain, and follow up on all covenant/tickler items to ensure they are up to date.
• Ensure site visit requirements are met for problem loans, if needed.
• Ensure real estate taxes are paid current on all properties listed as collateral.
• Handle customer requested servicing actions in compliance with SBA rules and requirements.
• Collect on past due and defaulted SBA loans through customer interaction and coordination with the originating BDO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3-5 years of SBA related experience, with at least three years spent on servicing SBA loans.
• Knowledge of theory and practices in extensive servicing and liquidation with SBA and USDA loans.
