About the position

The Community Based Clinician position at Chicanos Por La Causa involves providing both direct and indirect services to clients within the community. The work schedule is full-time, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured workday while providing essential services to the community.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health related field or currently enrolled in a Master's program.
  • Two years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and ability to be insured under an automobile insurance policy.
  • Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR, and First Aid certification.
  • Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Current license preferred, or ability to become licensed.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully complete the agency's orientation and demonstrate competence regarding skills and knowledge.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate appropriate time-management skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required.
  • Customer service driven with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
