About the position

The Community Based Clinician position at Chicanos Por La Causa involves providing both direct and indirect services to clients within the community. Under general supervision, the clinician will manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs. The work schedule is full-time, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured workday while providing essential services to the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect services to individual clients in the community.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a behavioral health related field or currently enrolled in a Master's program.
• Two years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and ability to be insured under an automobile insurance policy.
• Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR, and First Aid certification.
• Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish preferred.
• Current license preferred, or ability to become licensed.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must successfully complete the agency's orientation and demonstrate competence regarding skills and knowledge.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate appropriate time-management skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required.
• Customer service driven with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
