This opportunity is available for a therapist in both outpatient and home settings for a duration of 13 weeks. The therapist will be responsible for treating approximately 8-12 patients per day, primarily focusing on a pediatric outpatient population ranging from ages 0-3, although there may be opportunities to work with patients up to young teenagers. The patients will present with a variety of disabilities and developmental delays, including but not limited to Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, prematurity, and Cerebral Palsy (CP). A significant aspect of the role involves working collaboratively with both professionals and parents, ensuring that they learn together about the implications of the therapies and interventions being provided. In addition to the primary outpatient focus, the therapist may also encounter patients with language delays, speech delays, and feeding concerns. Experience in pediatric feeding is considered a plus for candidates applying for this position. The role is designed to be community and center-based, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, with a start date anticipated in late October. The position is conveniently located with easy access to all major East Coast cities, making it an attractive option for those looking to work in a vibrant and diverse environment.
