About the position

The Community Benefits Manager will play a crucial role in engaging with community stakeholders and addressing their needs, particularly in the context of energy transition and environmental policies. This position requires strong public speaking skills and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with various organizations to develop effective solutions to community challenges.

Responsibilities

• Engage with community stakeholders to identify key pain points and develop pathways to resolution.
• Broker relationships with antagonistic stakeholders and conduct culturally sensitive conversations.
• Work independently and as part of a team to navigate complex social and community organizations.
• Deliver public speaking engagements with limited support from other participants.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with stakeholders and community members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Services or Public Policy/Administration.
• 10+ years of related experience in community engagement or an environment-related field.
• Strong public speaking ability.
• Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility policy, ESG, or environmental regulatory policies.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player with influential leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of hydrogen and energy transition.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
