About the position

The Community Brand Ambassador serves as the face of Wildfire Credit Union, responsible for building relationships with community organizations and enhancing the credit union's visibility through strategic community engagement. This role aims to promote financial literacy and strengthen the credit union's commitment to serving its members and the broader community, aligning with the organization's vision of fostering life-long relationships that benefit both members and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with community organizations.
  • Coordinate partnerships that align with the credit union's mission of member service.
  • Enhance the credit union's visibility and presence through strategic community engagement.
  • Promote financial literacy within the community.
  • Foster a positive brand image for Wildfire Credit Union.
  • Recommend credit union products and services to improve members' financial well-being.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in community engagement, public relations, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the local community and its needs.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Experience in event planning and community outreach.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and public relations strategies.
  • Passionate about community service and the credit union movement.
