About The Position

The Concierge at AvalonBay Communities is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the apartment living experience through exceptional customer service. This position involves leading front desk operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, and setting high standards for quality service. The Concierge will be the first point of contact for residents and prospects, providing assistance, information, and personalized recommendations to create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency (GED) required.
• 1+ years of related experience in a hotel, retail, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to walk the property and maneuver packages/deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor foot traffic and provide top-notch customer service at the front desk.
• Implement programs to address resident satisfaction and maintain customer service standards.
• Serve as a point of contact for residents, offering assistance and information.
• Partner with the leasing office and maintenance team to enhance the resident experience during move-in/move-out processes.
• Manage resident packages, phone messages, and maintenance requests efficiently.
