AvalonBay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to take on the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. Responsibilities

  • Help residents find the best place to call home through creative and thoughtful tours.
  • Provide personalized recommendations for floorplans and local amenities.
  • Create a sense of community and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Drive leasing performance through sales and marketing efforts.
  • Maintain follow-through with prospective residents through tailored updates.
  • Be available on weekends to accommodate high-traffic times for potential residents.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
