The Community Development and Housing Project Manager II position at San Bernardino County is a pivotal role focused on the identification and management of affordable housing projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, which includes site research and acquisition, feasibility analysis, pre-development, design, construction, and the transition to housing monitoring and federal compliance. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential qualifying projects and development partners, ensuring that the objectives of each project are met efficiently and effectively. The Community Development and Housing (CDH) department plays a crucial role in supporting the growth of San Bernardino County by providing essential services to cities and private economic development organizations. The department is dedicated to creating a solid platform for investment and ensuring that the county is well-positioned to support expected resident and business growth.
