About the position

The Community Development Manager for the Northern California Region is responsible for overseeing land development projects, managing consultant and contractor agreements, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory agencies. This role involves coordinating project schedules, managing budgets, and maintaining cash flow forecasts for development operations. The manager will also implement risk management programs and uphold the Trilogy brand through effective project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, execute and manage consultant agreements and contractor agreements related to land development.
  • Schedule and manage all land development trades via established project schedule.
  • Generate and maintain overall project schedules for complete master plan development.
  • Coordinate with all agencies including governing authorities, department of real estate, and utility companies regarding engineering plans and necessary approvals.
  • Manage all development budgets.
  • Maintain and update cash flow forecasts related to all land development operations, golf course development operations, and vertical commercial construction operations.
  • Maintain allocated lot development costs and coordinate with Regional Project Manager, Regional Coordinator, and Finance.
  • Obtain bonding/sureties as required and report to Corporate.
  • Initiate and maintain a risk management program associated with the building and development of large-scale master-planned communities.
  • Manage the execution of 'The Trilogy Vision' through project reviews with other accountable individuals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • More than 5 years related experience and/or training in the industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of prior industry experience in land development, golf course development, or commercial construction.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $150,000 to $165,000.
  • Full-time employment status.
