The position focuses on cultivating external relationships within the assessment area to enhance the performance of the Affiliate Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and meet business objectives, including brand identification. The role requires collaboration across all banking lines to deliver community development initiatives and CRA-related business development strategies. The successful candidate will implement community development initiatives and identify opportunities that drive CRA performance and business results. Additionally, the role involves assisting the Affiliate CRA Manager with CRA assessments by performing analysis of community development investments and service test performance. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong community partnerships to ensure effective execution of community development activities. The candidate will manage assigned community development initiatives that align with the Affiliate's CRA and business objectives, ensuring accurate performance activities are reported to Bancorp. The role also involves assisting in the formation of community development strategies aimed at increasing lending, investment, and service test performance. Referring CRA-related business opportunities to Lines of Business (LOBs) is also a critical aspect of the job. The candidate will implement activities associated with the Affiliate’s Community Development Services (CDS) goals and annual community service plan, including required reporting for both Traditional and Flagship initiatives. Working with internal business partners is essential to ensure engagement of Affiliate associates in Community Development Initiatives (CDI) and CDS/community outreach initiatives, which includes training, employee recognition programs, and newsletters. The role also requires coordination of multi-cultural events and the Affiliate’s participation in external community development-related events. Collaboration with LOB partners in implementing qualified CDS financial education and business development events is expected. The candidate will participate in joint calling efforts with LOB associates as determined by the Affiliate CRA Manager and will be involved in CRA performance assessment and analysis, including meetings with LOB leadership and preparing written assessment results. Representing the bank in the assessment area, serving on boards and committees that qualify for CDS credit, and attending community events related to CRA/community development are also part of the responsibilities. Participation in Bancorp CRA/compliance training is required.
