About the position

The In-Home Care Community Development Specialist at McLeod Home Care is responsible for expanding the client base by building relationships with referral sources and promoting the company's services. This role combines strategic thinking, community engagement, and a passion for senior care to enhance the lives of clients through personalized care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Referral Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key referral sources, including hospitals, physician offices, senior living communities, rehab centers, and other healthcare providers.
  • Community Outreach: Represent McLeod Home Care at local events, expos, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and services.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and connect with potential clients and their families, providing education on our services and care solutions.
  • Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute marketing plans and strategies to achieve growth goals.
  • Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-ups with leads, referrals, and potential clients to maintain relationships and convert inquiries into care opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regional demographics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Promotional Materials: Create and distribute brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials that effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the care team to ensure alignment between client needs and services provided.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in healthcare marketing, sales, or business development (preferably in senior care or home health).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of the senior care industry is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in senior care or home health marketing.
