About the position

The Community Director for Elmington's Affordable Lease Up property in Manor, TX, is responsible for leading the successful lease-up and daily operations of a multi-family community. This role requires strong leadership, financial management, and the ability to drive leasing and income while managing a team and maintaining the community's reputation. The Community Director will work closely with the Director of EA Lease Ups and the Elmington team to execute a strategic game plan for success.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage staff, operations, and financial performance of the community.
  • Be the primary representative onsite of Elmington to residents, vendors, and employees.
  • Provide strong leadership and oversight over complex financials, budgets, and staffing.
  • Drive leasing and income to continuously find new ways to grow the community.
  • Manage the service staff to maximize revenues and minimize expenses.
  • Conceptualize new ideas to improve the business and community reputation.
  • Physically inspect the property in its entirety.

Requirements

  • LIHTC experience
  • Mid-level experience in property management
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Enrolled Agent certification preferred

Nice-to-haves

  • CAM certification preferred
  • Experience in lease-up properties
