About the position

The Community Engagement Database Specialist at Augusta University is responsible for overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of community engagement databases and impact reporting. This role supports community partnerships and engagement programming initiatives, while also representing the department at promotional events to enhance awareness and utilization of community engagement resources.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee community engagement database systems, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Manage integration of GivePulse with other community engagement platforms.
  • Produce standardized reports to support leadership decision-making and program tracking.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement impact reporting processes.
  • Coordinate participation in committees and professional associations.
  • Provide support and training for stakeholders on community engagement databases.
  • Assess database effectiveness and seek feedback for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Computer Science, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in community engagement, database management, or related fields.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with community engagement or nonprofit management.
  • Prior experience with GivePulse or similar databases.
  • Graphic design experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Canva.
