This listing is for Marion, Indiana, where we are seeking Community Engagement staff to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their family homes and out in the community. The role involves engaging with clients and providing support tailored to their needs, which may include respite services, PAC services, DHI services, and transportation. Community engagement staff may work up to 10-hour shifts per the family's schedule, with shifts potentially scheduled any day of the week. The position may require driving from one home to another, depending on the families served. The tasks performed will vary based on the services the family qualifies for, and staff will be responsible for assisting clients with light house cleaning, meal preparation, and community activities, as well as teaching life skills. Additionally, the role may include helping clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and other hygiene tasks.
