About the position

The Community Events Program Lead will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the quality and offerings of the Community Events program. This role involves building relationships with community members, leaders, and partners, while also monitoring program health metrics and driving engagement initiatives. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure feedback is integrated into program initiatives and to represent the community at customer-centric events.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business owner for the Community Events Program
  • Build and execute on strategy to enhance Community Events program quality
  • Expand offerings and contribute to organizational goals
  • Build respect and trust with the community, leaders, internal/external teams, partners, and vendors
  • Identify, monitor, and report on program health metrics
  • Drive Community Events engagement and retention initiatives
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure feedback is reflected in program initiatives
  • Scope and pilot new Community Events formats
  • Represent Community at customer-centric events
  • Support marketing and promotional strategies for Community Events
  • Lead communication flow across partner and stakeholder teams for program improvements
  • Evangelize the Community Events program internally and drive internal enablement and engagement

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Ambassador Programs/Community Program Manager roles
  • Proven experience managing, building, and scaling community programs through events
  • Deep understanding of community engagement through events
  • Proven ability to own complex programs and oversee cross-team projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, and improve new processes
  • Adept at managing deadlines and working collaboratively within distributed teams
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing skills
  • Energized by building relationships with a diverse group of people

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Bevy, Qualtrics, and Tableau
  • Experience working in Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence Cloud, and Trello
