About the position

The Community Health Training Program Manager will oversee the development, training, and assessment of community health programs funded by grants at the Translational Health Research Center. This role involves managing operational activities, coordinating training for health professionals, and ensuring successful collaboration with community groups and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all operational activities of a grant-funded community health research program, including training, budgeting, event planning, and logistics.
  • Develop and disseminate training to mental health professionals and other health-related community groups.
  • Manage logistical arrangements for virtual and in-person programming/training needs, including space reservations.
  • Collaborate successfully with key THRC personnel to support grant activities.
  • Attend THRC and community meetings in support of grant-funded projects as needed.
  • Manage monthly programmatic reports to funders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communication, health education, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience leading training or education programs online or in-person in a community or professional setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with professional communication and presentational speaking with corporate or nonprofit organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct professional documents, materials, and online content.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and evaluating training and development activities.
  • Excellent time management and customer service skills to build rapport and maintain supportive relationships with external partners.
  • Previous experience collaborating with working professionals, community groups, or coalitions.
  • Ability to be flexible, work collaboratively, take initiative, and prioritize work in a growing and highly dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with research methods for program planning and assessment.

  • Experience communicating and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously
