About The Position
The Community Health Worker (Outreach Worker) position at the Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) is focused on promoting health equity among underserved communities in Davidson County through the COVID Response and Resilient Communities (CCR) grant. The role involves engaging with residents to assess their health and social service needs, providing education, and facilitating access to community resources. Training and certification for Community Health Workers will be provided upon employment.
