About the position

The Community Impact Activation Manager at Fifth Third Bank is responsible for leading the Community Impact Program's service activation process. This role focuses on enhancing the Community Needs Assessment (CNA) process, ensuring compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and optimizing program reporting operations. The manager will coordinate event activations, develop project plans, and analyze data to align community needs with the bank's corporate responsibility strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of signature and non-signature event activation.
  • Develop project plans and documentation for community impact initiatives.
  • Coordinate overall project execution and provide updates on progress.
  • Identify issues and roadblocks in a timely manner and work towards solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to identify best practices for regulatory reporting.
  • Lead the production and analysis of quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Prepare and manage internal communications regarding project outcomes.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to enhance departmental efficiencies.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss compliance and service activation issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years of experience with the Community Reinvestment Act.
  • Advanced understanding of Fair Lending and Responsible Banking laws and regulations.
  • Three or more years of experience with significant analytical responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather, assess, validate, and present data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
