About the position

The Community Impact Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands - Riverside is responsible for coordinating and assisting the Manager of Community Impact with the daily operations of the Family Services Program. This role involves facilitating classes, workshops, and events, as well as developing relationships with community partners and stakeholders. The coordinator will also assist in overseeing food distribution projects and ensure compliance with grant requirements, contributing to the growth and development of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate classes, workshops, events, and services for the Family Services Program.
  • Develop relationships and network with community partners, school leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with Club Directors and Site Coordinators to ensure availability of Club space for programming.
  • Gather data and provide reports on attendance, classes, workshops, and partnerships.
  • Assist in overseeing the food distribution project, focusing on customer service and performance measures for grants.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations to expand access to community services.
  • Ensure timely implementation of food delivery and compliance with grant requirements.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and evaluating grant programs and services to meet objectives.
  • Increase visibility of Club programs through marketing and public relations efforts.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience in planning and supervising activities (3 years).
  • Demonstrated ability in project and program management.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to recruit, train, manage, and motivate people.
  • Valid California State Driver's License.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or ability to certify upon hire.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience in community service or youth programs.
