About the position

The Community Impact Manager at United Way of Cass-Clay is a full-time role focused on building and maintaining relationships with community partners and leaders to maximize the impact of donor contributions. This position involves project management, community outreach, and data analysis to inform investment strategies and support funded programs. The ideal candidate will be organized, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for community service.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain trusting relationships with community partners and leaders.
• Facilitate the investment process to maximize the impact of donor dollars.
• Lead data collection, analysis, and synthesis efforts for internal and external purposes.
• Serve as the primary resource for funded community organizations.
• Assess community needs to inform the development of investment strategies.
• Facilitate aspects of the community investment review process including applicant management and evaluation.
• Prepare written and verbal reports outlining funding recommendations.
• Manage the vetting of organizations seeking funding for community sponsorships.
• Attend events and community meetings to represent United Way and strengthen visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• At least two years of experience in a related role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and willingness to adapt to new technology platforms.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of classified information.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves
