About the position
The Community Liaison at Haven Hospice is responsible for marketing hospice and home health services to various industry professionals and the community. This role focuses on building and maintaining professional relationships with referral sources, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and educating the community about home care services. The position involves conducting outside sales calls, attending trade shows, and promoting the company's programs and services.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with all referral sources, including hospitals, physician and surgeon practices, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
- Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory requirements.
- Educates the community about home care services and Abode Home Health.
- Interacts daily with professionals in the health care industry, including physicians, discharge planners, medical social workers, case managers, and skilled nurses.
- Conducts outside sales calls to existing and potential referral sources within an established territory.
- Promotes Abode Home Health's programs and services to medical professionals and civic and community-related organizations.
- Attends trade shows and vendor fairs to generate business and establish professional relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or other related discipline preferred.
- Current and valid state driver's license.
- Proof of auto insurance.
