About the position

The Community Liaison at Allay Home and Hospice is responsible for marketing hospice and home health services to various industry professionals and the community. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and educating the community about home care services. The position requires daily interaction with healthcare professionals and involves conducting outside sales calls to promote the company's programs and services.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains professional relationships with all referral sources, including hospitals, physician and surgeon practices, nursing homes, hospital case managers, discharge planners, assisted living facilities, and other appropriate referral sources.
  • Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Educates the community about home care services and Abode Home Health.
  • Conducts outside sales calls to existing and potential referral sources within an established territory.
  • Promotes Abode Home Health's programs and services to medical professionals and civic and community-related organizations.
  • Attends trade shows and vendor fairs to generate business and establish professional relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or other related discipline preferred.
  • Current and valid state driver's license.
  • Proof of auto insurance.
