About the position
The Community Liaison at Sacred Journey Hospice is responsible for marketing hospice and home health services to industry professionals and the community. This role involves building and maintaining professional relationships with referral sources, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and educating the community about home care services. The position requires daily interaction with healthcare professionals and conducting outside sales calls to promote the company's programs and services.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with all referral sources, including hospitals, physician and surgeon practices, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
- Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory requirements.
- Educates the community about home care services and Sacred Journey Hospice.
- Conducts outside sales calls to existing and potential referral sources within an established territory.
- Promotes Sacred Journey Hospice's programs and services to medical professionals and civic organizations.
- Attends trade shows and vendor fairs to generate business and establish professional relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or other related discipline preferred.
- Current and valid state driver's license.
- Proof of auto insurance.
