About the position

The Community Living Support Specialist at Texoma Community Center is responsible for providing curriculum-based skills training to participants with serious emotional disturbances. This role operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care models, aiming to enhance access to mental health services and improve the quality of life for individuals with mental and developmental disorders. The position requires maintaining a caseload and working collaboratively with community stakeholders to deliver effective treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide curriculum-based skills training to YES Waiver participants.
• Maintain a Children's MH caseload as necessary and assigned.
• Operate under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, and community stakeholders to promote accessibility of services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice, or Counseling.
• Must qualify for QMHP-CS certification.
• Two years of Human Services experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or addiction issues desirable.
• Current driver's license and a vehicle for use at work.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to learn and understand other electronic software programs/systems used by TCC.
