About the position

The Bilingual Community Manager at Ashford Communities is responsible for overseeing the management of multiple properties in Pearland, Texas. This role emphasizes teamwork, trust, and customer care, with a focus on creating high-performance teams and ensuring excellent resident relations. The Community Manager will lead marketing efforts, manage maintenance services, and maintain compliance with company policies while fostering a positive community environment.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and mentor employees to create high-performance teams based on Ashford Values and Behaviors.
• Work closely with the marketing department and leasing team to create and implement marketing campaigns.
• Conduct monthly market surveys to stay competitive in the market.
• Manage service requests with the maintenance team to provide excellent service to residents.
• Coordinate activities with maintenance employees and vendors to prepare units quickly and cost-effectively.
• Create and maintain professional relationships with residents and organize monthly resident events.
• Ensure vendors perform their duties as required and manage invoices accordingly.
• Manage costs within budget while maintaining the community with regular maintenance.
• Report as per management's needs and adhere to company processes and policies.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 1-2 years of experience in property management, preferably as a Community Manager.
• Experience with digital and local area marketing.
• Supervisory experience and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using technology tools such as Google Suite, OneSite, and Realpage Unified platform.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Community Boss, Gatewise, Asana, Facilities+, and Funnel.
• Strong interpersonal skills for conflict resolution and team collaboration.
• Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and propose solutions.
